Hi Daniel, apologies if this is the wrong blog/section. As a fellow data/design-obsessed gearhound (I mean that in the healthiest way possible), it's been great to go through your archives while researching pop-up truck campers.
I'm curious to see if there will be some kind of trip report for your recent XP Camper V2 adventure. I've seen a number of your videos of factory visits but it seems this recent trip was your first actual journey in an XP?
It seems we have a lot of the same asks/needs from our rigs:
good offroad capabilities in order to reach remote locations (our family is pretty outdoorsy), smart and functional design, high-quality build (I want this thing to outlast my tech industry days when I can no longer afford to replace it!), some comforts of home, and perhaps more recently for you - the ability to travel in a pack of three (congrats!).
For me, it's come down to a Hallmark of some kind vs an XP V4, but we haven't ruled out going smaller, like the V2, especially since we will likely be taking similar week-long trips with our two-year old while we continue to work. I guess I'm mainly wondering if there were other advantages of the XP that really stuck out to you during your trip (your short video of the air compressor for example). Did it seem sufficient compared to a V4? Roomy enough for a week of travel?
